Who can learn to fly?

Almost anyone in good health and with a passion for aviation can learn to fly and earn a Private Pilot License (PPL). You can start training at 14 years old but you must be at least 17 years old to obtain the license and able to read, speak, and understand English. Good vision (corrected if necessary) and a medical from a CAA-approved doctor is required (before your first solo flight). No prior experience is needed, and EFC provides structured lessons covering theory and practical skills. With dedication, about 45–70 flight hours and passing the written, oral, and flight test exams aspiring pilots can achieve their dream of flying. More information is available on our Flight Training Page
